Overview

Genimus is a concept UI design for a crypto activity platform where users can perform actions, complete tasks, and earn coins. The goal was to create a sleek, intuitive interface that aligns with the aesthetics of modern Web3 apps while remaining accessible to non-technical users.

Challenge

Design an engaging and visually distinctive UI for a crypto activity app that balances technical functionality with user-friendly navigation, while incorporating gamified elements to increase user engagement.

Solution

I designed a mobile-first interface with bold typography, dark mode, and vibrant accent colors to reflect the tech-forward, energetic nature of the product. The UI includes task flows, coin balance tracking, and clear CTAs. Iconography and layout were designed to guide the user smoothly through onboarding, earning, and redeeming coins.

Design Process

The design process began with extensive research into cryptocurrency platforms and gamified apps to identify successful patterns and user expectations. I created user flows and wireframes to establish the core functionality before moving into high-fidelity design.

For the visual design, I chose a dark interface with neon yellow accents to create a distinctive, tech-forward aesthetic that would appeal to crypto enthusiasts while remaining accessible to newcomers. The high contrast color scheme ensures good readability of financial data and clear visibility of interactive elements.

Typography plays a crucial role in the design, with a modern sans-serif font used for maximum legibility and a slightly futuristic feel. The layout prioritizes clear information hierarchy, with important data like coin balances and earnings prominently displayed.

I also created an alternative "Lightning" version of the interface that incorporates animated electric effects to add visual excitement and reinforce the energy of the platform. This version was designed to appeal to users who prefer a more dynamic, gamified experience.

Outcome

The final design successfully balances the technical complexity of crypto applications with an accessible, engaging user experience. The bold color scheme and clear visual hierarchy make the app approachable for both crypto enthusiasts and newcomers. The gamified elements encourage user engagement and retention through a rewarding experience.
